Colorful taxis and mini buses are a common sight in Dakar, and driving them is one of the city’s major occupations.

Numerous arts and crafts can be found throughout the city of Dakar. West Africa is famous for its carved masks.

Colorful baskets are a art of the market scene in Dakar. When it comes to shopping, bargaining is the rule of thumb.

Dakar is a city of welcoming inhabitants, quick to say hello and even offer a meal.
